PSILICONE THEATRE
The beginning of Psilicone theatre is in visual arts.
In 2005 we developed printmaking process and techniques to live action involving silicone puppets, special visual effects, texts and sounds. Psilicone theatre transgress boundaries between visual and stage arts.
Psilicone theatre performance is a public game with silicone puppets, texts and personal items.
The action is accompanied and supported by music.
Special effects are made using water, melting chemicals (eg. melting anaesthetise medicine), daily chemistry and beauty industry agents (eg. hair shampoo, face cream, lipstick).
Everything, that is going on a small surface becomes visible to the
spectators by filming the action and projecting it onto the big screen.
Psilicone theatre is using artistic silicone implants to make plastic corrections of wrinkles of sadness on the face of the Lithuanian nation.
