Det är inte bara sjöjungfrur som hotar sjömän idag. Alkohol, droger, sex, pengar är idag en fara för alla. Konsten är sjöjungfruns syster - den besitter de instrument som behövs för att binda och förföra. Kanske kan konst vara ett medel till att hitta ett sätt att motstå frestelser. Silikondockor är motståndskraftiga och oförstörbara. Beväpnade med återhållen humor och uthållighet är de ett exempel på hur man står upp mot frestelser.

“MEMENTO NORMATIVE”Obviously, that mermaids of today endanger not only seamen. Contemporary temptations – alcohol, drugs, sex, money - keeps in danger everybody. The art is mermaids sister – it also keeps all instruments fitted to call and seduce. So probably art can help to find the ways to withstand attack of temptations.
Silicone puppets are resistant and indestructible. Armed with restrained humour they demonstrate resilience and can become an example how to resist against temptations.
